Charley Creek rare earths project presentation
Enova CEO/Director, Eric Vesel, discusses how the company is working toward re-establishing itself as a significant supplier of critical minerals.
Resource drilling and test work over the last 3 years provides new project opportunities, by adding scandium and potentially aluminium to the list of critical and valuable industrial minerals hosted at Charley Creek.
Our flagship project Cattle Creek, which currently covers an area of 10 sq.km, offers to be two projects in one. The surface horizon consists of alluvial sands bearing high value rare earth monazite and xenotime which can be simply concentrated using simple and environmentally friendly gravity separation methods. This will be further refined to produce rare earth oxides. Below this, rare earth and scandium metals concentrate in weathered rock that is targeted for extraction using acid leaching.
Enova is committed to completing its technical studies for these two projects in 2022 and announcing resources and details of its plans in 2023. Completing these milestones, allows the value of Enova’s assets and technical work to be recognised. Enova stands to benefit from global scarcity of critical minerals, a concern for governments and industry alike. As the reliance on critical minerals for future technologies will not relent.
